Only 9 races today...Are the cards getting shorter because of extra racing days?

some horses went to tioga, some to northfield & a few went to vernon downs. also trainer c. steuart(sp?) went back to hoosier downs for thier meet.

I did notice that some BR guys were at Vernon and Tioga. The purses there really are not that much more than BR. Must be some other reason why they left.

As far as Northfield, they recently added slots so purses there have been on the rise. Plenty of Ohio guys came to BR, now they want to go back home.

If you have ever been to the western ny harness racing forum you would know why they left buffalo! all they do is piss & moan about buff.-then when batavia is running they whine about purses.
