Chrome draws inside and others draw outside. Many players bet less when their selections draw outside. Win or lose this race will offer some interesting prices.

Being a member of the "Raider Nation" have to play a total hunch wager in the Belmont. Silver and Black colors of "Chrome" and the number :6: saddle cloth, with Matuzak a former raider being the 6 horse and with the nickname of Tooz, gotta play a 2-6 exacta. Just win Baby!

The Exacta might pan out, but what would the payout be $12-16?

The most recent example would be 2001 when Point Given (1.35) and AP Valentine (5.9) paid out $20.60. With a .4-.6 in the first and a likely 5-7 in the 2nd spot, any estimated payout would be lower. I don't think it would be as low as $10 with the 11 horse field.

If you're putting $4 to win $16, you're saying there is more than a 25% chance that your two of the 110 exacta chances happen.

My picks are a little chalky as well, but I'll be putting Chrome underneath in the Tri if I decide to bet.

The exacta in the Preakness with the 3rd choice came back $18 for a $2 bet.

I know the Belmont will have better challengers & with a 36 year history against Chrome, I'm thinking the exacta 2-6 comes back between $12 to $16.........triple should pay about $80 for $2 bet, thinking a 20-1 shot for 3rd

Samraat got a perfect trip in the Derby and he failed miserably in the stretch. Can't see him lasting another 1/4 mile for a piece. He has distance limitations in my book. A throwout.

Only concern for me at the moment is can he go the distance if he gets the lead?
