We never found out what that is !! In fact when my friend...
who knew Doc extremely well ....asked him that question ...
we were referred to Jimmy @ The case still remains open
after all these years...Perhaps somebody knows :) !!

You may want to check the SartinAlums board on Yahoo Groups. Guy Wadsworth might know.

Thanks for the info ... re The Sartin Alums. I think maybe
most of the folks had no exposure to T Mation.. but I will
check. I have received a tremendous amount of info on this
message board !!!

Omni ject was, I believe, a new feature that projected a sprinter into a route race more accurractely than the "Old Yeller" manual method. I have to look that up to get the details.

Ahh that sounds right ..!! I am thinking that if there are no
sprinters to route today ... I wouldnt need the Omni Ject. Also
I am taking the race from Aodds into T Mation. I know the race
has been adjusted in Aodds...so I might be giving the horse
TOO MUCH credit If I adjust his rating again ?
It IZZZ the hardest thing to do in racing...trying to figure out
if the Stretch out hoss is gonna win. They will normally show up
quite well in the rankings ..normally early...Thanks as always for
ANY INFO on T Mation

I think Omni-ject also dod somethings to differnet distances-like a mile to a mile and an eight? Not sure. I will dig out my program disk- there ws a page of instructions with it that talked about the new features. And my old seminar notes.

I would really like to see any of the info that you have...Be
happy to pay for copies thereof. No rush ..whenever you
have some spare moments down the road. We actually flew
blind -- testing and retesting ! Doc always said he was gonna
put out a Thoromation Manual ..but it never did happen :)
We put in horses that nobody else would even look at .. and
let the program rock. Especially in funky maiden races...
Turf .... long or short ... and races where all of the pace lines
look awful. Whatever Doc and Jimmy did in T Mation...it is
beyond belief sometimes.

if im not mistaken the omni-ject function took all of dick schmidt's, m. pizzola's, and t. hambleton's complaints and electronically eradicated them from the users memory banks. there were no ob-ject-ions that i could ever recall intruding on the use of these programs from these three fellows.

I am still on the floor .. rolling over in pain ....too much
laughter ! I knew each of those fellows fairly well ... They
had things to contribute and things to be left out of one's
thinking. On the serious side .. I think Omni Ject was a way
to project sprints to routes. Always happy to talk about
Thoromation .. since there never was a Manual .. we made it
up and learned it as we went. JUst use the Alt Adjust and for
God's and other sakes...dont tell the Doc which Adjustment you
are using LOL .... The Alt adjust simply adjusts all of the
horse's Total Energies to one Standard. Obviously some slow
horses will look better .. BUT HOWEVER The damn program is
soooooooooooooo good ...it tosses horses that dont belong.
It is very forgiving. If in doubt .. run the race through the
Automatic Adjust to see if there is substantial difference in the
readouts. Later on ..

Omni-jector, from my T-Mation II instructions:
"The all purpose distance projector that projects or extracts any distance, including mile and 40 and mile and 70 yards up to a mile and a half to the distance of today's race."

Equa-just - "The dramatic new automatic adjustment procedure that mediates between the 1 and 2 adjustments. To get the equa-just number, you use the "2" adjustment, thenpress the <E> key (do this for each horse). You will then see an alternative adjsutment number and if you wish to use it, you manually enter it. If you want to increase or decread the suggested number, then us the + or - keys and use 0.11 for each length you want to speed up or slow down the horse.

We tried to use it .. but we came up with radical read outs...
Pretty much stick to the Alt Adjust...no mater what the energy
differences are. If I am in doubt . I will check the Auto Adjust to
see if it is pretty much in line with the Alt Adjust. If so .. then we
go on.
