I could see someone giving these wheels a spin just to see how it works. I'm sure drivers wouldn't mind some free gear.

No ed, that's how much the inventor needed to start production on the first one.

There's always been tinker'ers trying to come up with faster equipment for horse racing. We had a guy in the '80s pushing rubber shoes at the Meadows. Got to think outside the box....... ;)

Wonder what the world records would be today if the single shaft sulky was still in use?..
