9th@Mountaineer~ 6F F&M Clm5000N2L ~ purse $8,400 - 5/20/14
------------------------------------------------------------------
Three runners go Route-to-Sprint (R-2-S), Two drop in class
off last race,& One JBM (Just Broke Maiden) are keys to closer.
------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Diggin Faster (8/1ml)- 6YO is 1/43 lifetime. Pass.
2) Silent Splash (3/1ml Fave)- 4YO goes R-2-S, back to proper level.
3) Get On With It (15/1)- 4YO Speed&Fade last pair. Inside speed.
4) GT's Got To Dance (10/1)- 5YO closer gets pace, but 1/31 life.
5) Classy Madringa (20/1)- 4YO S&F all 3 2014 starts.50-day layoff.
6) Try Me (6/1)- 6YO fourth both local tries, 2nd off layoff.
7) Money Round (10/1)- 4YO goes R-2-S off 163-day layoff,2 works.
8) Horseheadbookends (4/1)- 4YO JBM wired field in mud last out.
9) Starship Hollywood (10/1)- 5YO cuts back 440Y 3rd off layoff.
10) Love The Minister (9/2)- 4YO only true class dropper, tough post.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Early Look: Silent Splash was 4/5 when beaten here at this level
Dec.26th. That card was a late addition due to postponements,
& track produced quirky results that haven't been repeated in 2014.
Last race looks like Capt.Obvious prep for this spot.
Love The Minister would be a strong pick by me if not for a very
tough ten post. If scratches move Minister in, i'll key in Pick-5.
I'm against JBM off mud wire job, but if she gets the early pace
too hot, look out for GT's Got To Dance to be flying late. Young
Low % Rider & 1/19 local mark temper my enthusiasm for the "W".
Top Picks: #'s 10-4-2. Good luck to ALL,& see you at Night School!
