There is an interesting discrepancy between trot and pace races at Yonkers in regard to the driver:

YR - In 477 Pace Races WIN% for TOP RANK was 16.56 % Mean Mutuel 5.83
YR - In 477 Pace Races PLACE% for TOP RANK was 15.30 %
YR - In 477 Pace Races WIN% for SECOND RANK was 13.00 % Mean Mutuel 5.98
YR - In 477 Pace Races WIN ROI for TOP RANK was .54
YR - In 477 Pace Races WIN ROI for SECOND RANK was .43
YR - In 477 Pace Races TOP THREE Drivers WON 43.19 %

YR - In 95 Trot Races WIN% for TOP RANK was 31.58 % Mean Mutuel 4.24
YR - In 95 Trot Races PLACE% for TOP RANK was 20.00 %
YR - In 95 Trot Races WIN% for SECOND RANK was 13.68 % Mean Mutuel 6.54
YR - In 95 Trot Races WIN ROI for TOP RANK was .88
YR - In 95 Trot Races WIN ROI for SECOND RANK was .41
YR - In 95 Trot Races TOP THREE Drivers WON 58.95 %

Don't know what you are trying to figure out but at Yonkers It's Brian Sears, George Breenan and maybe Jason Bartlett. Others are strictly second class.

I'd go even farther and say its Brian Sears and then George Brennan and Jason Bartlett.

The best driver theory is good in trot races. It comes up a bit short in pace races. That was the point.
