I guess then it's time to ban entertainment like "The Bridge" and "No Country for Old Men" for their less than sterling portrait of Mexicans.

And, what about all of those places that don't have a Taco Bell, or, a Roberto's, or, a Chipolte's? They must be anti-Mexican food.

And why not purge the language of phrases such as "gone south".

Let's make Herb Albert recant all of his music and donate his wealth to La Raza.

Viva la Revolution!

I can't speak for the other two but Taco Bell IS anti-Mexican food.

Ya, what most American's think is Mexican food is about as close to reality as manicotti is to Italian.

Which is exactly what can be said for Cinco de Mayo.

I lived in Mexico for 12 years. Not once can I recall anyone celebrating on May 5th...except gringos.

Si.

Cinco de Mayo is just an excuse to party and drink. But I suspect that's b/c some/most Americans believe it is Mexican independence day.

I went to Subway to celebrate the holiday.
I ordered an Italian Sub and told them to holda da Mayo.
