View Full Version : Betfair exchange for Monmouth?
Any of you industry insiders have the skinny on exchange wagering in New Jersey? The latest public release I have seen is from January when they announced a tentative agreement was reached and they had hoped to have something ready to launch for the beginning of the Monmouth meet.
Thanks for any info.

It's been pushed back to the summer, at the earliest, according to the MP website.
The mini-golf course is open for business, however.

Todays 9 17 2014 the day the NJ racing commision approves exchange betting rules that were published.
Once the rules get approved things should start moving towards implementation

Thanks Allan. I was wondering what the next step was since the public comment period ended on 8/15.

Just read on Matt Hegarty's twitter that the racing commission set up a committee to consider changes to the exchange wagering rules. Let's see how long this takes.
I wish they would just get this up and running already. It was only signed into law in January of 2011.

Well if they do change the rules they have to go though another public comment period.
