Just noticed this... We had Candy Boy @16-1 with 2min to post. The chart says he went off under 10-1. How is that possible?

HPI Intervals confirm this, someone bet a bundle late.

Was just looking at the chart of the race at noticed this too.
The (clear)fourth choice in the race, despite being at least 16-1 throughout most of the betting...as least as far as I saw.

The 12 went off at 16/1 and had 1.7 million on him. The 18 went off @ 9/1 and had 2.7 million on him.

I never saw an odds move like this in the Kentucky Derby before.

How much would it take to move the odds like that?

Between '0 MTP' and the final odds, 3.5 Million was bet and I estimate about 1.5 Million would be on Candy Boy.

Take a look at the field.
One minute to post 16-1, post time 9-1. That means a lot of last money.

I used Candy Boy, heavily. I was alive to 3,13,16,18,20 in the pick 3, with a $23 start. Candy Boy had a no chance trip, feel bad for whoever crushed him late.

I have conducted an extensive investigation into who made the million dollar bet. It was Tom. He is saying it had to with his new computer making a mistake. He had really meant to bet $20 on the :1: in the 11th at Belmont. :D
