Whether or not he has something to hide, he should just ignore them and go on about his life. Its not like the racing industry cares one way or another, if he ignores them, its not like racing fans and the industry will hold his feet to the fire anyway but if he sues, he keeps himself in the public spotlight, nothing good can come from it.

Hes just keeping the dogs off while on the public stage. After hes out of the derby spotlight he'll slither under a rock.

Agreed. No one is more pompous and self important than Costas. All 4 foot 10 inches of him. Was he a jockey in his youth?? :lol:

Exactly what I expected. p.r. damage control from Asmussen.

Guys in this industry are so used to being cheats and dopers and horse abusers that they have lost all touch with any sense of right and wrong. It's just about how much coin they can mint in their various horse factories.

Hopefully the industry wakes up before it's totally dead and gone.
