"New York Rep. Michael Grimm surrendered to the FBI Monday morning and was arrested on federal criminal charges, authorities said.


Grimm is charged with several counts, including mail fraud, wire fraud and tax fraud, related to a private business deal that he made prior to being elected to Congress that involved an Upper East Side health food restaurant."


I'd love gloat over the fact that this guy is a republican, but just the luck of the draw that he is a republican. The next one could be a democrat.

what i have been wondering about is BLOGOJEVICH getting a 14 year sentence after getting a hung jury. he should have been able to make a better deal for himself. it seems kind of stupid to me since the first jury had only 1 holdout supposedly. he could have plead out to something that brought him a nickle out in 42 months.
