just taking a look at the purses this evening at Yonkers, $75,000, $100,000, $371,000, $567,000. the rest of the purses for the night were in the $20,000 range. these things run almost every week too. we should go into the harness biz.

Belmont day is going to have over $8 million in purses for the day.

It's a Stakes heavy card.
The Geo Morton Levy Pace is a long running fixture which originated at Roosevelt Raceway.
Actually the purse for this event has not risen all that much when inflation is figured in.
The 1988 edition had a final purse of $200k.
