Wildcat Red gets Luis Saez for the Derby

I've already commented how this horse was robbed of victory in
the Florida Derby, and is now reunited with Luis Saez.

While his breeding may be questionable for the distance his
speed and pace #'s ,inmho make him a contender at odds of
at least 10-1 based upon the usual hype of the Derby contenders.


Post position undoubtedly weighs heavy in his chances of winning,
at least he will be given a fair chance to prove his real ability.

Blood Horse refers to a favorable fast work on Sunday, hoping
to see this 30k purchase become the "blue collar" champion.

Saez is the right choice for this horse.
WR is a bit quirky,leaves the rail at a moments notice.
Saez knows this and handles WR with an iron hand.
This horse needs a strong physical jockey.......Saez fits the bill.
Very smart move by the connections.
