that's pretty tough to accomplish when regulation time is only 48 minutes in the NBA

Yep...I didn't look at the game log, but I assume he never came out and obviously had some OT games.

What makes this even more incredible is that I'm pretty sure they didn't have the same number of timeouts as they do today since there wasn't really any TV coverage.

And even if they did have the same number of stoppages, I bet they weren't as long as today (again, no TV commercials).

Amazing.

How does the "Curve" look?

I'm sure players in that era played many more minutes than guys of today.

At either rate, its pretty impressive to basically play every minute of every game in the season, hard to deny that's amazing when you think about it.
