I said on this board that Group # 17 was the Match up I was interested in before this event started.
I thought that Jordan Speith is Major material, perhaps not this year, but he will be.
Patrick Reid was exposed.
McIlroy wasn't as ready as he thought he was.
I'll pull for Jordan tomorrow, but this is his first trip on this track. If he falls short, that's understandable.

I'm rooting for Jimenez first and foremost. Seems like a real nice guy and this may be his last best chance.

Rickie Fowler or Lee Westwood would be cool too but those guys never seem to finish the deal.

No work tomorrow
No Aqueduct tomorrow

I will be watching the final round, and rooting for Matt Kuchar.
I'm sure I have told this story before, but Kuchar used to be a bit of a clown on the Nationwide Tour. I was at the Chitimacha Open here in Cajunland about 6-7yrs ago, and my brother in law and I were following Kuchar.

Seemed disinterested all day. Hit his tee shot on a par 3 on the fringe. Then walked down from the tee box about 50yds to a house that was for sale, grabbed a brochure and scoped the place out for a few minutes.
We were crossing the street with him after one hole and a shuttle bus failed to yield...Kuchar underhanded a golf ball off the side of the passing bus and caught the rebound.
Had some young honey with him all day also. Seemed a little more into her than the tournament.

Anyway - he has settled down and clearly gotten more serious about his profession. Been a solid player for awhile on the big Tour.
Wish him the best tomorrow.

Come on, who here isn't rooting for Freddie just a little bit?

I think it would be crazy good to see him win another jacket.

Top of my head: 2 and 16 look to be tough, really tough locations.

Some of these it's kind of hard twisting my mental image around b/c of the orientation in my minds eye due to the TV camera's angle v. the view on the sheet.

I was going to put a small wager in on Bubba before it started, but did not.

He had the 'Yippie-kai-yeas' yesterday, though!

Jordan and Miguel in a play-off. Both hit errant shots. The “mechanic” wins on experience.

At the press conference, Miguel is puffing on his cigar and hoists a class of red wine to fellow golfers. Goodbye political correctness.

Best of luck to all.

The question is: Will Bubba Watson ever unbutton the top button of his shirt?

The three I'm rooting for: Justin Rose; Matt Kuchar; Rickey Fowler.

.

Jimenez ?

Sir Nick Faldo refers to him warmly as "The Most Interesting Man in the World" (as in the beer commercials.)

Back nine coming up. Bubba now up by 2.

Will we be seeing a grown man cry?

That second shot at 15 was sheer lunacy.
He must have landed a yard, or so, past the water.
Got lucky. He'll win easy - but he nearly made it interesting

Bubba deserved it today.
With more experience Jordan Spieth will win a Major or more.
Blixt was a scrapper too, but my crystal ball does not see a Major in his future.
Matt Kucher, .....was all around the hole with his putts. The Golf God had something against him today.
Great viewing.

Agreed, Greyfox.

Bubba had 3 rounds under 70 - including today.

No way did he back into it.

Good for Bubba. So left handers who hit it long now dominate the masters. Check out the tigerless tv-ratngs, btw. Pink drivers, 400 yard tee balls, and crazy-curved shots do not charisma make. The public just isn't buying this post-tiger generation. Parity is a horrible thing in golf.
