I was reported that Mars died of a heart attack, but Richard Hughes was fine.

I kept looking for him to get back in the race trailing a couple of hundred yards back kind of running scared. I never saw him. The fall did not look too bad for the horse, meaning I have seen worse falls and horses get back up and are ok. I am not saying falls are good for horses.
