if that was a buzzer several people should of saw that exchange. I mean there are at least 5 people around that would of saw it. Whatever it is its weird that hes giving something to the lady.

if he was using a buzzer, why didn't he just drop it on the track on the gallop out on the far turn?

The young lady in the red dress was pretty smooth.

I sure couldn't see anything. Granted, it was also not in HD.

Whatever it was, it was sure small? How big is a buzzer?

As a matter of interest, how many of the posters in this thread watch and/or bet on European racing?

It was his buzzer, her batteries.
Come to think of it, that makes it her buzzer, too!

If he was handing something off to her, why the hell would they do it there, in front of Lord Mountbatten or whoever???

Sure it does.
He left her room last night & accidently took the key with him.
She left to go to the track & realized she didn't have her room key. Being blonde she didn't know she could get another key at the front desk. So she calls the jock on his cell phone, explains the situation & he tells her to meet him in the winners circle & he'll hand over the key to her. They try to do it secretively because they're both married to different people.

Probably thought it was safer there than in front of the clerk of scales.

What? And risk losing his lucky buzzer?

This big. (or small). The size of about 2AA or AAA batteries.

As we know batteries are getting smaller and more powerful then ever. Making it possible for smaller devises as well.

Heck I seen a stun gun incorporated into a glove.

Judging by the behavior and guilty look on the lady in red, my money would be on that being a buzzer. Good luck proving it one way or the other. Out of curiousity are these things dumped on the track and if so, can't they cause injury to a horse stepping on one?
