My top plays from various tracks today. $10 WP bets.
Aqueduct Race-8 The :3: . 3rd off the layoff for Brown here a 17% trainer move. Cuts back to a sprint for another 15% angle. 5-1 & the slight drop in class make this one a play today.
Fair Grounds Race -2 The :9: . Major drop in class today for Pessin. Goes back to the dirt for a 20% turf-to-dirt trainer move. 3-1 on the ML.
Fair Grounds Race -4 The :5: . 3rd off the layoff a 27% trainer move for Calhoun. 1st time blinkers on another 22% angle & the drop into the maiden claiming ranks a bonus 29% move. Looks tough here.
Fair Grounds Race -8 The :10: .19% 3rd off the layoff trainer Roussel cuts this one back to a sprint today with Rosie up. Should sit a good trip here at 4-1 on the ML.
Gulfstream Race -3 The :6: . Back on the dirt today for 23% turf-to-dirt trainer. Stretches back out for another 10% trainer move. Gets Paco up today for the ride at 5-1.
Gulfstream Race -4 The :8: . 3rd time off the layoff runner for Pompay fits the 2 sprints to a route pattern. Trainer hits at 13% with that move. Gets in light today with the 10lb bug up. Look for a solid effort here at a huge price. 12-1 ML not without a shot.
Gulfstream Race -6 The :3: . Toss last effort when pulled up & this one figures right there. Hits the claiming ranks for the 1st time a 14% trainer move. Has speed and a nice workout Mar 15th for this. 6-1 on the line.
Laurel Race -3 The :1: . 12-1 shot for the King has won back-to-back races since returning in January. Trainer 25% after winning last race and the red hot McCarthy stays up to ride. Bombs away!
Oaklawn Race -1 The :6: Ran 3rd as the chalk last out & this trainer hits right back at 11% off the beaten favorite loss. Fast track today would help chances. 6-1 on the ML.
Oaklawn Race -7 The :8: .2nd career race for Hartlage a 10% trainer move. Bump that up to 25% when that 2nd race is a route like today. Works appear to be getting faster. Improvement coming at 6-1 on the line.
