just took the time to read this story, it's jaw dropping. this Democrat Yee now being charged with fraud and gun trafficking is of course also a big time gun control nutcase. :D

Yee is charged with conspiracy to traffic in firearms without a license and to illegally import firearms, as well as six counts of scheming to defraud citizens of honest services. Each corruption count is punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000, while the gun-trafficking count is punishable by up to five years and $250,000.

The charges are particularly shocking given that Yee has been among the state Senate's most outspoken advocates both of gun control and of good-government initiatives.

With his other problems, it is likely a minor point, but he has withdrawn his planned candicy for secratary of state. In addition, this morning his state senate collegues will ask him to resign. If he refuses, they will vote on suspending him from office. His political career is over.

Yee has been suspended, but so have two other Democrats. The bad part is that all three will continue to be paid, courtesy, of course, of the California taxpayer. Not much publicity, aside from local, on the misdeeds of these three, since they all are far left Democrats, and the liberal media has downplayed things. Had they been Republicans, of course, the shrieks and howls of outrage from the left would have reached a nationwide crescendo.
