Yes some of those are good movies and there was a lot of work in editing them.

But I found the whole presentation too peripatetic for my liking and quit watching after two minutes.

If you've watched 1001 movies...then you are already dead. You just don't know it yet...I must not know it. I seen most the movies in the clip and a lot more. I still love movies but almost never go to a theater any more. I can't eat popcorn anymore and smell drives me crazy. Red Box and Netflix are great. Once in a while TCM comes up something pretty good I missed.
