The extreme moonbats (http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/10/senator-bernie-sanders-and-marc-lamont-hill-lament-medias-coronation-of-hillary-clinton-video/) are starting to whine that Hillary has already been crowned for 2016, but question her credentials as a true progressive.

Socialist Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and liberal commentator Marc Lamont Hill both bemoaned the American media’s “coronation” of Hillary Clinton as the 2016 Democratic nominee, arguing that she does not represent progressive values.

Sanders claimed he was “not here to attack Hillary,” but noted that “what we need is a candidate who’s going to stand up for the working class, take on the big money interests, tell Wall Street that they cannot continue to dominate the politics of this country.” Clinton has close ties to Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs and served for years on the board of Wal-Mart.

Hill’s criticism was more direct. “Here’s my worry though, senator,” he said. “I worry that the voters have already decided. Seems like Hillary Clinton is sucking up the air in this presidential election.”

BTW, many on the left are starting to tout Senator Elizabeth Warren (http://blog.heritage.org/2014/03/10/elizabeth-warren-tax-rich-let-students-pay-college-loans/) (D, MA) as someone that can out-Hillary Hillary. Warren is famous for first going public with the "you didn't build that" meme, even before Obama. Warren's latest brain storm is a new special tax on millionaires and billionaires to further subsidize student loans. Just what we need. Even more 20-somethings with unmarketable degrees living in their parents basements, planning to occupy Wall Street or something equally productive.

Yes, we have the liberal equivalent of the tea party in the democratic party. After losing election after election to moderate republicans, we have learn not to let them dictate policy. The GOP will eventually learn that too. To the dismay of many of the posters here I am sure. If you think Obama is a liberal democrat(as I am sure some of you do), then you haven't a clue about the make up of the democratic party.

Obama is a lot more liberal than he lets on. He either does have some political sense, or his handlers are keeping him on a short leash.

He stated publicly (before he was elected) that he wanted a single payer health care system. He knew he couldn't get that, so he let Congress design the "best" system that they could get passed and went along with it as if it really was ObamaCare.

He wants cap and trade. He knows he is not going to get it, so he does the best he can with EPA regulations, DOE loans to flaky green energy schemes, restrictions on drilling and pipelines, etc.

He wants a Constitution that says what the government has to do for people. He can't get that, so he does the best he can with executive action increasing welfare programs and the number of people eligible.

He wants redistribution of wealth, but he can't get that. So he hammers on the need for millionaires and billionaires to pay their "fair share", and tries to get Congress to increase taxes and to put an end to the "Age of Austerity" we have been suffering through the last 5 years.

The real Obama is the man behind the curtain.

But we do. 40% are socialists, 40% are communists, and other 20% are moderates that really belong in the GOP. There is no such thing as a conservative Democrat, they became extinct in the 80's.

We sent the most of the last of the southern bigots who were trying to disguise themselves as conservative democrats packing during the 1970s. You are more than welcome to them. Combine them with the Ayn Rand atheists and the populists, now calling themselves tea partiers, and you have most of what passes for a conservative republican these days. Good luck with that bunch.

The liberal National Journal (http://www.nationaljournal.com/against-the-grain/time-for-truth-in-labeling-obama-is-not-centrist-20140311) says that Obama's claim to be centrist is incorrect, and that he is on the liberal side of his party.

But on all five major issues that divide the Democratic Party's liberals and moderates—the budget deficit, income inequality, the environment, social issues, and America's role in the world—Obama is on the leftward side.

...

Obama has been effective in portraying himself as a moderate consensus-builder while governing in a liberal direction. He won reelection by mobilizing a growing progressive base, and portraying Mitt Romney, one of the few remaining Republican moderates, as the extremist in the race. But his political resume also includes losing the House, with Democratic control of the Senate at risk in 2014. To understand how Obama squandered the huge Democratic congressional majorities he inherited, it's important to have some truth in labeling.

Rumor has it Christie and Obama were childhood friends.
Not sure if this is true or internet BS......might explain why the Governor leans left.

He is not Mondale or Kennedy by a long stretch let alone somebody McGovern. But he is a little to the left of Bill Clinton.

Southern bigots? The Dixie Boll Weevils were center right Democrats that resisted Marxist ideology that was infecting their party.

There are many differences between Ayn Rand Libertarians and Neo-Cons, let alone the Paleo-Cons that comprise much of the Tea Party. Perhaps it is you that needs to brush up on modern political ideology definitions and party makeups.

He's right, they put the moonbats in their place that's why they win...The republicans are chicken shit of their moonbats so they let them run it, just about.....and the vast majority of middle/independent folks see it. Then these same people call Obama dumb and weak when he just wiped the floor with them for the last 6 years. Its hilarious! The moonbats from either side are never going to vote for the opposing side....even if you piss them off. The republicans just can't figure that out.....the fight is for the pragmatic, somewhat sensible folks in the middle....most of them are independents. I'm registered as an independent and its almost up to half, maybe more now. Every time they put Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin...front and center they lose votes.......when they put these people next to a McCain or Romney waffles to please them.......they lose another election. They either don't care, can't do the math or think it works....I don't know. But, I'm glad because if this continues a third party may become viable some day. Ted Cruz had the nerve to blame Dole, McCain and Romney, it isn't the wing nuts fault, that's how smart these people are/are not?....buddy if you run it will be even uglier for them...you could maybe carry 15 states...good luck.....

All moderates - they all lost, negating/diluting your entire post.

What party won the 2000 and 2004 presidential election? Then in 2008, a more skillful pol beat a less skillful pol. In 2012, an incumbent prez ran against someone who was easy to paint as out of touch (out of touch, not extreme), and the incumbent won. No surprises yet.

Who party controls the House?

What party has a great chance of regaining the Senate?

The demise of the Rep Party is greatly exaggerated.

Obviously Ted Cruz wouldn't be a good candidate for prez, but he won't be the candidate, so it's a moot point.

Impressive. Almost as impressive as your paragraphs.

By the way. Why is Cruz considered a moonbat? Because he's a Republican of Latino/Hispanic origin and that scares the crap out of the left, so they do all they can to slap labels on guys like him and you buy into that hook line and sinker?

Cruz is nuts...Rubio is crazy...Palin is nuts and a dumbass....Christie is fat and Nixon-esque....

So how is Cruz a moonbat again?

You need to work on your rants - please avoid upper-case letters and complete sentences at all cost.
