With the premiere of the movie "50 to 1" the story of Mine That Bird's win at the Kentucky Derby, being only two weeks away, Mr. Wilson has agreed to come on our show and tell us a little about how from film making he got involved with the world of thoroughbred horses. This is a great movie based on the true story behind Mine That Bird, and racing fans should not miss seeing it. Some of Mr. Wilson's notable achievements in film making to name a few were -Dances with Wolves, The Bodyguard, Rapa Nui, Wyatt Earp, 500 Nations, The Postman, Message in a Bottle, Mr. Brooks and Swing Vote. Born in Pasadena, California, and educated at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts and the University of California at Berkeley, Jim Wilson began making sports documentaries in 1977. As an equine lover, Wilson has been an avid racehorse owner since 1992.

Jay Privman will be our handicapper since the big races of the weekend are on his stomping grounds. Mucho Macho Man, who defeated the D. Wayne Lukas-trained Will Take Charge by a nose in the Classic at Santa Anita Nov. 2, has been assigned high weight of 124 pounds. Will Take Charge will carry 123. Two-time Big 'Cap winner Game On Dude, who is trained by Bob Baffert, has been assigned 122. Stevens will be aboard Mucho Macho Man Saturday, while Will Take Charge will be reunited with regular rider Louis Saez. Game On Dude will be paired with regular pilot Mike Smith. Entries for the 77th running of the Santa Anita Handicap will be taken March 5. Santa Anita will offer an 11-race program that also includes the $350,000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile (gr. IT) on turf, the $300,000 San Felipe Stakes (gr. II) for 3-year-olds, and the $250,000 San Carlos Stakes (gr. II) for sprinters. We will 'cap the "Big Cap" and two 3-year-old Derby points races - The San Felipe at Santa Anita and the Tampa Bay Derby.
