...and Obama's medical czar says, yeah, it's all about politics, so what.

In November, Obama announced a temporary fix for the individual mandate, allowing some policy holders to keep their plans through 2014. Now he is announcing another temporary fix, extending the previous temporary fix through Oct., 2016.

A supposedly temporary “fix” that President Obama announced in (http://washingtonexaminer.com/obamas-blame-shifting-strategy-wont-work/article/2539179)November to address the problem of the millions of Americans who lost coverage as a result of his health care law has now been extended through Oct. 1, 2016, the Department of Health and Human Services announced Wednesday.

In an attempt to limit the disruption to the insurance industry that would be caused by the move, HHS also announced that the “risk corridor” program (which has been described as a “bailout” to insurers) would be further modified to funnel more money to insurers in states affected by the change.

The move, which the Hill reported on earlier this week, comes as vulnerable Democrats are struggling to defend their support for Obamacare in a midterm election year.

It is just the latest in a series of changes that the Obama administration has made to the president's law without going through Congress.

Full story. (http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2545141/)

Cynics suggested that the move was motivated by political considerations regarding the November Congressional elections. Obama medical czar Dr. Zeke Emanuel says yeah (http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/05/zeke-emanuel-admits-politics-behind-new-obamacare-delay-for-the-political-gain-its-worth-it-video/), but that's a good thing.

Obamacare architect Zeke Emanuel seems like an honest guy — even when it gets him in trouble. And that honesty was on full display Wednesday, after the healthcare expert denounced the policy implications of yet another Obamacare delay but admitted that “for the political gain, it’s worth it.”

Emanuel spoke with MSNBC’s Alex Wagner about the White House’s unilateral delay of a deadline to kill insurance plans that don’t meet minimum guidelines. The delay will prevent hundreds of thousands of Americans from losing what the Obama administration feels are subpar plans — at least until after the November midterm elections.

The White House routinely denies that their changes to Obamcare — 30 and counting — are politically motivated, instead arguing that they are merely seeking to implement the law most effectively. But Emanuel — who worked for years as a healthcare expert in the Obama administration — admitted this new delay isn’t about policy, but the ballot box.

The question I have is that the voting public having read this and similar articles would realize the wool is being pulled over their eyes and would vote accordingly, right?

Any bets?

Truth is all bets are off until the September / October time frame when the election all members of the United States House and the due portion of the Senate campaign's are in full swing for the mid-term rumble.

There are judges out there shaking their heads every time this thing gets "adjusted"

Blatantly illegal to make these changes without going back to Congress

If someone finds a valid way to get this or most of the other changes in front of a judge, it could become a serious problem for everybody

A lot of people don't see this as having the wool pulled over their eyes. They believe the Obama story that the ACA is a good thing for the country, and these delays are necessary because the dastardly Republicans are screwing things up. Most people don't care about this unless it affects them personally. Everything being equal, about 40% are going to vote Dem and 40% are going to vote GOP on autopilot. Some of the 40% Dems are going to bail out if they were personally hurt by ObamaCare, but not a lot.

So the decision makers are the 20% in the middle, and the question is how many of those care about the issue on principle or were personally affected. A recent poll showed that 33% of people said that they had been hurt by ObamaCare and 14% had been helped. Certainly this issue is toxic for the Dems in November, but it is still too early to know how toxic. But enough that a lot of Congressional Dems running for reelection are avoiding Obama and ObamaCare as much as possible.

In spite of this new delay, a lot of people are going to have their policies canceled this fall, and a lot more are going to have the premiums go up significantly. And the insurance companies aren't going to take the blame. They are going to point fingers at the White House.

The votes they are going after are from people who can not read.

Let's cut the low information voters a little slack. A lot of them can read, but chose not to. Some tire out easily from moving their lips when they read. Others feel they get all the news they need from their favorite real news organization, The Daily Show.

Or maybe they just want the new healthcare law to be the best that it can be for all of us and will accept whatever delays or adjustments that need to be made along the way.

Even Democrats have started admitting that the delays not about making it better, they are about making it politically palatable. That has been the overwhelming concern of the administration from day one. Even advocates of ObamaCare are clear that it can't work without the employer mandate. But Obama keeps delaying that out of pure political tactics.

I agree there is a political component to all these ObamaCare delays. Everything Obama and the Democrats do always have a political motive.

Where I differ with most of my conservative patriot friends is that in the hallowed halls of Congress, the GOP leadership is quietly endorsing these delays. The GOP leadership is bought and paid for by Corporate America, and Big Business simply does not want to provide health care benefits for their employees. The Fortune 1000 wants Obama Care plain and simple and they want the GOP to do their bidding for them.

You see, let us not kid ourselves -- the GOP has no intention of repealing, replacing, fixing or defunding Obama Care. In 2010 and 2012, the GOP ran against Obama Care. How do you think the GOP won so many elections throughout the USA and a majority in the House? The conservative base is what put the GOP and John Boehner in power. No one else did. The GOP denies all this because they are now throwing those same conservatives that want Obama Care repealed under the bus. But we know better.

So, if Obama delays, delays and delays the employee mandate, the GOP is all for this, all the while being on the Q-T. When this issue eventually comes to the fore, the GOP will be the party that says they can't do anything about Obama Care now, it is settled law.

Just my thoughts and opinions. I hope I am wrong.

Why let a little thing like the law get in the way?
