I never wine, cry or bellyache about a loss in a race so I hope this is not
going to be interpreted as my first. Today, I bet the 5 Stormin Monacha
in race 2. He was the longest shot on the board and went off at 27-1.
He had the race won then just before the wire, Guns Out passed him and
he wound up getting 2nd place. I was shocked to see they had changed
his odds to 11-1. That's a $16 drop in odds. Did someone with a lot more
money than I plop a huge wad down and they couldn't finish counting it
till just before the wire? Guns out paid even money to win. 1-1 It just makes
me wonder.
Never mind. I see the results chart shows 33-1 now.
