This is more evidence of people's desire to bet mile tracks. When Christie caves in on the slots, they'll be where they were 10-15 years ago(though not the 70's and 80's).

Andrew Mc Carthy had a wild night,as he drove several last and next place finishers inbetween two big longshots, one picked on top by Pandy.

Great drive by Stacy Chiodo sending her classy meal ticket Mighty Young Joe down the pike instead of stifling his natural speed and closing fast belatedly as he usually does. It's good to see some of the other drivers get some wins. Not only did Andrew McCarthy win two, but the much-improved Shaun Vallee got two wins on the card, which must have been a first for him at the Meadowlands.

Once the grandstand is renovated , table games inroduced
AND night T BRED racing is approved, the
glory of what racing should be in this "new world"
will become a reality.

Trace Tetrick had a double Friday night. McCarthy has been doing well as of late. I'm sure the absence of Campbell and Pierce is helping him pick up drives, but he's making the most of it.
