GP Race 4

Three contenders :1: Tarpy’s Goal (5-1), :2: Broome Street (4-1) and :4: Political Justice (6-1).

I estimate a final time of 97+/-.

The :3: Officeinthevalley (8-1) and :6: Moe Man (3-1) have the most $ earned but, the :3: is a little slow and moves up. The :6: has been off 3 months, possible but, …

I show :5: Nevada improving in projected form but has been off last 2 months.

I’m betting :2: Broome Street to win (depending on the odds and how he looks warming up). His speed to the half is faster than I like.

GP Race 8

Five contenders :1: Eternal Ruler (5/2), :2: Saturday Special (6-1), :4: Dysprosium (3-1), :5: Mutasadder (15-1) and :10: Newfound Zapper (5-1).

I estimate a final time of 104 +/-.

This could be a fast race to the finish from the half. All contenders are fairly close on final times with the :10: fastest but their pace to the half varies.

I’m showing the :2: improving in projected form and I’m betting him to win (depending on the odds and how he looks warming up).

1 Tarpy's Goal (2.10) ................... 6.20 .... 4.60 .... 3.00
3 Officeinthevalley (23.40) ....................... 15.40 ... 5.20
4 Political Justice (7.80) ......................................... 4.00
5 Nevada (8.30)

Time: 96.08

$2.00 exacta (1-3) $144.20
$1.00 tri (1-3-4) $319.90

Per charts:

TARPY'S GOAL chased the pace three wide, rallied to take over at the quarter pole, then drew clear under urging. OFFICEINTHEVALLEY rated off the pace after breaking poorly, raced three wide around the turn and closed to prove best of the rest. POLITICAL JUSTICE set the pace under pressure along the inside to nearing the quarter pole, then tired. NEVADA reserved off the pace, steadied to avoid running up on BROOME STREET on the turn and failed to menace. MOE MAN was not a factor. BROOME STREET pressed the pace outside POLITICAL JUSTICE into the turn, then faded when he bled and was pulled up late

I can't believe this horse pays 3.20

he's even money going into the gate.

my adw shows 3.60 all the way after the race.
Then it becomes official and drops to 3.20.

At least the live track video did show the drop to 3-5. Still frustrating to get the ADW update so late (and wanting 20cents more on the dollar)

1 Eternal Ruler (0.60) ........................ 3.20 .... 2.40 ... 2.10
4 Dysprosium (3.50) ...................................... 2.80 ... 2.20
6 Roman's Avenue (10.90) ......................................... 4.40
2 Saturday Special (23.60)

Time: 99.01

$2.00 exacta $13.20 (1-4)
$1.00 tri $38.10 (1-4-6)

per chart:

ETERNAL RULER (IRE) rated off the pace, angled out leaving the far turn, rallied to take over nearing the eighth pole, then drew off while drifting out badly. DYSPROSIUM chased ROMAN'S AVENUE into the stretch, then wore that rival down to be up for the place while no match for the winner. ROMAN'S AVENUE very fractious in the gate, sprinted to a clear lead along the inside, made the pace into the stretch and gave way. SATURDAY SPECIAL reserved racing along the inside, had no response in the drive.

The time of 99.01 was faster than my projected time for this level.

I think they are going to keep pounding Maker here with the :7: Sapphire Blue.
She could be the controlling speed, however they are shortening to the 1M distance, so you may see other jocks make her work to get the lead.
She also graduates and steps up a condition.
Do I want that for a horse that may pay 4.60 3.00 2.20 ??

I'll let the guys who hammered down my Eternal Ruler chalk fight over these scraps.
Big money is already up and hungry for more today. Pass
