Sometimes it is difficult to recognize the actual ROI even in a 16 day duration. Ten race losing streaks can quell the quest to achieve the 30%-40% ROI. As I see it the last 16 days of play at OAKLAWN a 32% ROI with flat wagering or a 34% ROI with a moderate progression was produced. The hits over the 16 days were 6 as: $ 50.20, $23.60, $28.80, $26, $42.40 and $72.20. The economics: cost $188; return $248.20: profit $60.20; ROI 32%; hits 6; tics 94; p=.063; Ave$= $41.36 and FP=2.6. The 30%-40% ROI does nor appear as fireworks on the fourth of July, but its there if one is observant. The figures used refers to the outcomes of my system in the Win slot only.

IMHO it is way better to keep track of your big scores and the actual size of your bankroll in GREEN DOLLARS than spending your energe trying to calculate your ROI.
