In last year's edition of Champions League, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo was hailed as the top scorer. However, that feat went to waste as his club fell to German side Borussia Dortmund.

This 2014, Los Blancos will have a chance to redeem themselves as they face-off with another German club, Schalke. This is the first time that these two clubs will meet. Who's going to get the first piece of the cake? Match is on February 27, 03:45.

Cant wait for today's games.... Man U is a 6/1 home dog... wow that's the highest price I think I have ever seen them at Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich is a beast - United will be lucky to stay within a goal of them at home.

The line suggests that it will be a 2 or 3 goal game. United needs to play keep away....

It's a shame RVP is out injured.
United won't have too many chances - they need to make the best of them.

A great result for Man Utd today. They have given themselves a chance. That's all they could have asked for coming into today's match.

Absolutely.....they played their asses off
As bad a season as it's been, they still have a few good games left in them.

With Schweinsteiger and Martinez out next week anything is possible.

Very true.
Bayern had much of the play tonight, but didn't create that many chances.
They are far from invincible, and with much of their midfield engine room missing,
this tie is still balanced.

How about a 2-2 draw in Munich? ;)

If your asking if I would take penalty's.... I would sign up for that right now.

Away goals count double as a tiebreaker....we wouldn't need PKs with that.
1-1 and we would.
Nice to dream...... ;)

Correct... I would take any of those scenarios. It was weird because I never thought that Man Utd would be the faster team but they looked a lot faster than Bayern. Even though Bayern possessed the ball for most of the game, when Man Utd had the ball Bayern looked uncomfortable.

That would be among the favored score lines.
Bayern are listed as -10.00 favorites to advance to the semis.

I'm just glad to see MUFC putting up a fight and playing with some flair.
Couldn't believe they were an 11-5 underdog at home today.
That's pretty sad.......

MU played a very different match today- on their heels for much of the 1st half- seemed to come alive in the 2nd half. I give them a punchers chance in round #2- Go Red Devils !

Chelsea looked very bad vs. PSG. Down 3-1 and coming home they need a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

Yes....excellent comeback by Chelsea.

Man Utd have a huge task ahead of them tomorrow.
Bayern is like a sleeping giant who's about to get pissed off.......the glimmers of hope for United are the missing midfielders for Bayern, and that their 20-something league win streak was broken last weekend by some lowly team.

Come on you Redssssssssss.............

I won't see the game live, either, tomorrow as I'll be working.
Damn...........

I gues I am rooting for the teams and not the make up of the teams. The fans are wonderful; you are the one doing the ethnic breakdown of the teams - not me !!

Alright - everybody chill out!
Besides - you have your hands full with Baltimore's ethnic breakdown

Yes, the fans are fantastic. No one celebrates like soccer fans, no one.
Mourinho goes tearing down the sidelines after Ba scored...great stuff.

The wildest celebration I saw was when Kun Aguero clinched the Prem title for Man City with a goal in extra time a few years ago.
Madness
Bedlam.
