Perfect example today of distribution of wealth.
The people are taking stock the the assets of their illegal government.
Something we should consider here at home?

Or, do the libs have a reason why it is OK for the government to have unlimited wealth while the people suffer?

Tom - why do you blame this only on the Liberals? This has been a trend for decades, many of those years where Washington was controlled by the Conservatives. Just because the White House has been Dem for a few years hardly means this goes only on them.

See, the problem isnt Dems vs Repubs (nor Far Left vs Far Right) - that is a smokescren put up to keep everyone in line (really who gives a crap about the issues that get discussed most often??? the real issues are far more complex). Both parties are only about greed, wealth and power. Both suck. faster everyone realizes the faster we have a chance to actually change it.

That's what you "political" folks don't get.......people don't suffer here. you can't even get people off their couch or video games. As long as they keep people fat, entertained and give them the "greatest country on earth speech"......nobody is going to hit the streets.....hell, they'll even turn over their rights if you give them that deal and offer "protection"... both sides know this. suffering here is if you don't get cable or your power goes out for a day or two...these people eat dirt and potatoes and if they have an opinion...you can get shot for that. All of these countries where this is happening,,,,,,their definition of "suffering" and the Liberal or Conservative American political cry babies definition of "suffering" are two different things all together. If we are suffering so bad, how come no one does "dick"? They bitch and moan...but the same crooks get voted in when people here can actually change it without violence. If people were starving, cold and didn't have the "teat" of TV, internet and crap to bitch about other than Bush and Obama.....maybe they would get off their asses and smell the coffee. You people really think the Republican and Democratic party don't realize this? If it gets bad they (party leaders) will be the first rats jumping off a sinking ship...you won't see them in the streets.....guaranteed. right on Jdhanover

Comparatively speaking, Americans, in general, have a quality of life which is immensely better off than Ukranians.
That may not be be true in the future as the National Debt reaches ridiculous peaks, but it is today.

the lesson I see in the Ukraine is that there are still parts of the world where people will fight their government and die if necessary rather than to live under a corrupt communist system and be ruled by a cadre of wealthy government cronies who bankrupt the country to serve their own needs and further their own agendas.

Russia is going to do what it is going to do and there is nothing the United States can do about it except talk. I am sure the GOP will drag out McCain, etc, to call for sending US troops. The right wing will blame every thing on Obama like they do for everything else. People tend to forget that here we vote out "bad" politicians when they get too bad and that some countries have to riot in the streets to get rid of them.
