1 1/16 Miles | Open | 3 Year Olds Allowance Optional Claiming ($75,000) | Purse: $48,750

1 Sea of Faces Lopez P
2 Rhythm Blues Lanerie C J
3 Matterhorn Saez L
4 Solemnly Swear Davis D
5 We're All Set Prado E S
6 Constitution Castellano J J
7 Big Guy Ian Rocco J S Jr
8 Tonalist Bravo J
9 Wicked Strong Lezcano J
10 Mexikoma Rosario J

This race is getting as much hype, rightfully so, but I was surprised there was not a thread on it (or I'm blind and you can delete this)? Nice field though in my opinion not nearly as good as the FOY, as many are claiming. I think both Tonalist and Mexikoma are overrated. To me, Constitution is going to beat these and I won't be surprised if he does it in a fashion that stamps him a top contender for the roses.

5 horses can legitmitley win this race.
I prefer 3,9,10.
I think Matterhorn looks much better then Constitution, but he is a bit forgotten.

Here are the PPs

3, 6, 8 and 10 are all good.
I think the 3-Matterhorn ad 8-Tonalist have the best chances.

Looks open and competitive to me.

8 would be my key/top pick. Followed by the 5,6 and the 9. Many of these horses have yet to go around 2 turns.

The 8 has won going 2 turns but in a MS47. The 5 ran a a good race last time out(IMO) and at big odds. The 6 has the connections and looked good in his only race. The 9 has been in 2 large graded races around 2 turns. came flying down the stretch in the AQ race. Not too good in the Holy Bull tho. Any one have more info or opinion or why that was such a bad race for him?

On HRTV sometime in the last couple days, there was someone who felt there may be more/better triple crown contenders in this race than in the Fountain of Youth... time will tell

Tonalist could be a Triple Crown series horse and he can move forward with any kind of strong effort here.

Wicked Strong is a solid horse, but he needs things his own way, and is a toss against the grain here.

Constitution should control this race, and win rather easily.

Matterhorn is a solid contender and can hit the board with Saez giving guidance and strong handling.

I think Castellano sends Constitution from the bell & tries to take these all the way.
Mexikoma looks a bit overblown to me and needs to prove it in my book.

ex:
6 w 3-5-8-9-10
8 w 6
win:
6
