Seems like big things are happening in Venezuela, too, but you'd have to search the mainstream media to find anything about it; they're sure not leading with it. Any major pronouncements from this administration about a catastrophe in an oil-rich nation in our own hemisphere? Any lines in the sand? The leftoids would have to face up to the fact that their Chavez love was seriously misplaced.

If you think about it like that, it's almost a dark comedy (beyond the horror of the scene). As their government is well aware that this is a destabilization effort and that the radical "protestors" have been the beneficiary of funding, training, political and media support.

However, I'm pretty sure that in reality, Obama made that speech for the benefit of the media and people like us, not for the Ukrainian gov't or their allies.

I live in a fairly liberal area of Southern California. I do not know one Democrat that will say anything in favor of Obamacare, Not even people who campaigned for him. I think around 70% of the people do not like Obamacare and wish it was scratched. It just was a bad idea, poorly written and poorly executed. All the single payer liberal advocates are strangely silent, around where I live. This speaks loud and clear to me.......needs to just be tossed....doesn't work.
