P-6 carryover on a Monday holiday.
Don't have to twist my arm.
4) I know Jet Warrior will be singled on alot of tickets, but taking a closer look.......TOLEDO EDDIE has a lot going for him.
If you toss his Turf/Syn/Bullring(the FPX race showing) his form gets much stronger.
On conventional dirt his line reads as follows: 5 wins from 6 starts/2 for 2 @ todays tricky 7f distance/2 for 2 on the SA main.
In terms of the "eye test" he looked great in the lane in his last, while the chalk(Jet Warrior)was hardly smooth in the lane of his last.
5) Great betting race, 2 horses(Taylor Lane/La Sorella)figure to take action off of their debuts going down the hill.I really liked Taylor Lane's race better.
Her race was good enough to win 90% of the Mdn races down the hill, she just happened to run into a couple of ringers(the winner was a Tommy Proctor beast with a very bright future).
Of course La Sorella has every right to move forward today, but I wasn't tickled with her opener....and it's horse racing and you have to take a stand.
In this race Vanlose Stairway & See Ya Signe are two very well bred firsters, my gut tells me VS could be good.
Failing the eye test: I thought Dancinginthestreet looked lousy at the pole last time, I'll avoid.
6) If you guys got anything on this race let me know.....I have very little.
Only slight lean I have is maybe the outside horse( Gisele at Fonz's) can run with these.
I don't like Warrenspoweroflove, she looked bad late in her last.
7) Win,Lose or Draw there is no horse in So. Cal that travels any better than Egg Drop.
She is the smoothest moving mare you will ever see.
It's just fun to watch her run.
Plus she's a star.
A single today.
Note: Trainer John Sadler has 5 wins in his last 5 stakes starts.
8) Yikes!...Beats me.
I know nothing in this race.
About all I have is Harlington's Rose(6-1) ran just as good Rovenna( 9-5) in their last race.
9) This race has some real hard knockers entered.
I'm going to try Kingpin Ryno(6-1).
I usually don't like camera shy horses, but KR exits a mile race( which is further than he wants to go ) in which he went 1:09 and change on the lead only to get picked off by a repeat winner and a "garbage collector".
He's one for one down the hill, and easily does his best work on the SA lawn (2-1-1).
Good luck everybody.
