Best new video game console: PS4 or XBox or other?

Not really a good question as people are more faithful to their type of console than their significant other.

I prefer my XBox but don't have any experience with the 4th generation systems. PS typically outperforms its XBox counterpart while the latter dominates in multimedia applications.
