Do you ever play the slots at racinos? If so what is your strategy? Do you play between races? Before or after the race card? I play before the race card. I have to remember that there is a very high risk of losing and that I am there mostly for racing. I play the $5.00 machines. I invest $300.00. After five tries if I don't get a hit I go to another machine. If I have a profit of $10 or more I quite. I go to the racino four times a week. I have not lost at the slots in six weeks. The least I have won is $20. The most is $600. It takes self control and discipline, but it works for me. I would like to hear other stories.

I suggest you give up gambling, you're way too results oriented. The math is against you and if you continue thinking you have some magic system to defeat the math, you're on the path to losing a large sum of money chasing losses because you're 'due'.

If the house has a fixed advantage, the player has a losing proposition.

Slots hold zero appeal for me.I just don't see anything in it.Not even curiosity. It's a machine.Turning pieces of paper on a table doesn't do it for me either.I see concerts and drink at casinos and nothing more except eating! My strategy is not to have interest in any slot without hair around it! :p

Cincy, I'm sure your dates love that you remember them in this way. I'm sorry, but your post is disgusting on a public messageboard.

What's your deal? Drink yourself into a stupor, type and hit submit.

You need to get around more. Those slots went out of fashion years ago.

Too bad we hide behind keyboards. Some of the players have made very snide remarks to me. Too bad I live in southern Ohio, and they live hundreds of miles away. If some of the players lived closer I would pay them a visit. You should not post something unless you are prepared to say it face to face. Cincy Player you're OK in my book.

cosmo96,

yes, I play the slots at racinos. i'm kind of old fashioned or maybe just a boring vanilla guy and my strategy is to play one line on three reel quarter or nickel machines. I find myself more inclined to play before poker, but after racing for some reason. i'll usually pull out $10 or $20 for this but rarely lose that much. the other night I actually did play after poker and won $6 but I've probably lost about $15 for the year so far.

cincyplayer,

there are a lot more girls at the casino than racing. if you're playing a machine and one sits 2-4 seats down from you.... this might be a sign. of course when you're as ugly as I am, this will happen about as often as a ufo lands on the casino roof. but if it does happen you can drop the proximity super secret casino pick up line:

"are you winning any money?"

if things progress it helps to have a "sweet" food in mind for each individual casino. @ pen it might be the ice cream, @ c-town it might be the French toast across the street at mtnview, @ bally's it might be the chocolate cake, and @ Borgata I have no idea because those girls are WAY out of my league. :D
