Making $2 bets on Pandy's 4th pick last night at the Meadowlands,would have returned a profit of $13 on 3 winners for first,$32.60 for place on 8 seconds,and $23.40 for show on 9 thirds.If you eliminate the handicap and the mile and one-sixteenth race where his pick didn't hit the board,the profits are even greater.
Obviously,place was the best bet.Perhaps betting 2-4-2 on the selections would yield the optimal profit.
If only it was always this easy.
