All but "cycle" are probably self explanatory. Cycle 5 is a horse that has run within the past 25 days, finished within 4 1/2 lengths of the winner in last race while finishing 4th or lower and did not win in its past three races. It should be a fit class-wise as well.

Cycle 3 is a horse that is the only entry in a route race that ran a sprint last out.

None of these selections; Kee, OP, or SA apply if the track isn't fast or the turf firm.
