I was introduced to the Round Robin via the book, "How to make money in one day at the racetrack". Since then I have tweeted and given it my own spin. In the book the author used a decreasing scale $10 -8-6-4-2 to cover 5 races. The first win proceeds were divided over the remaining races stopping when 2 of the 5 races had hits. I changed the process by seeking 2 wins over a longer duration with the use of $2 tickets. Taking the win from 1 day and using the proceeds only for the second win on the next or succeeding days. Collecting the savings from first win and adding second win to give closure to the process. We begin the process again on the next day. It seems to work well.

The trick is to find the first winner, and then to not force the subsequent bets. You can run it into some real money, though.
