Interesting Poker Hand

I was playing in a NLHE cash game and when it came time for the showdown a player announced that he had pocket Aces. He turned over his cards and three cards appeared, two aces and a ten. At first the player said that when the player next to him folded that one of his discards must have accidently gone into his pile. The player that folded said he did not fold a ten or an ace. The floor was called and the ruling was that his hand was disqualified because he had three cards.

If I did, I'd keep a very close eye on him.

Also, were there surveillance cameras recording the game?
If so, there's a chance that player was cheating, and that it should be reviewed.

agree with the last couple posters. Being disqualified from the hand seems overly charitable to me. First of all, he was caught with 3 cards in his hand. Secondly, he lied about how he got 3 cards in his hand, including two A's. That alone should have gotten him thrown out of the place. The camera would certainly tell the tale on this one. Would never play with him again, and honestly don't understand why the casino left him continue to play.
