View Full Version : Making PARS

I'm interested in learning to make my own pars, but do not have a clue on where to start. I suspect that I need to make them by track, by class, by surface and by distance. Also, I probably want to look at them by the various calls involved with that distance.

How many races are considered to be an acceptable number? Do you only measure the winner's time, or do you only look at the leader at that call?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

What tracks are you planning on doing?

Kappa,

Send me a private email and I'll send you a PDF which describes how we make our pars. Perhaps it will help you.

I am taking a broad view, and hope to tie this into spot plays.

Here is a question for the group on how to use pars in the rt manner. lets say i have a copy of dave's pars for aq in front of me. i am looking at at xyz clm race and the par is 46 and 111 for six fur. i see the horses last race at this clm price was run at 46.4 an 112.1. the question is do i automatically adj this race or do i see how the other 6 fur races were run that day?
