" Women are invisible over 50".

Certainly, there is some truth to that, with many exceptions.

In the case of this person, she's going to have one helluva train wreck status during the next 5 years to fall that badly:

I read an article several years ago about how actresses go through about 20 years (28-48, as I recall) where there are just no parts for them, then the ones who have been perfecting their craft (and perhaps) still have their looks) make a second career.
