Any horses worth watching in this one?

Exit Stage Left injured and gone.

Tamarando and Enterprising in the race - but I think we know what these horses are. Not really that excited about it.

If he's in the race I would like to take a shot on Grazen's Hope
He is going to be loose speed in this race, with a bunch of poly/turf closers.
He's listed as possible right now, 2 for 2 early in his career for Steven Miyadi.
Would be worth a shot at 5 or 6 to 1 I think as well.

If he runs, in this field.......I'll probably bet on Icy Ride for the win hoping he breaks his maiden.

Icy Rides last maiden race on 1-30-14 was at a mile and I just think he will relish the extra furlong.

But if the colt, Icy Ride, doesn't take a liking to the all weather track at Golden Gate and the additional distance, then at least I picked my own loser.

Icy ride seems to be improving a bit, he's a steady galloper who's stride might he helped out by this surface. Part owned by USA olympian Bode Miller.

I'm sure Baffert has been galloping I R plenty prior to that 4f workout.

Dance With Fate for me. He ran a much better race than Tamarando in the Del Mar Futurity, and will prove that today.

Agree 100% with Dance With Fate. Watch the replay of the DMR Fut and you'll see he had an awful trip. I remember it vividly as I bet him in that race. Thought he was the winner but kept getting shuffled back and had to go very wide and let Tamarando get the jump. (By the way, California Chrome got the absolute worst trip in that race and would have won with a clean path).

Last was a solid prep.

I think Dance With Fate is sitting on a big race here.

I like Craftsman at a nice price, 8/1 morning line. I don't like the 1 post, but I like the horse a lot.

Enterprising didn't really impress me that much there in that last race @ GG.
He had a dream trip and finished very strong, but Infosec and Puppy Manners were not much worse.
Maybe with Gary Stevens aboard, it will be good to take a shot against?

:6: - Icy Ride really surprised me physically. This horse is a big beast, and he does seem to want more distance. I thought his recent race was his best.

:4: Tamarando made up a lot of ground in the cal cup to the 7 and the 2 in that race. He's a logical contender.

:8: Dance With Fate fits right in with these. Other than the Breeders Cup Juvenile he has been competitive with everything lately.

:5: Enterprising looks competitive even as an underlay.

My magic numbers like the 2,3,6 with the odds so high on them I will say a win bet on each.

It is tuff to bet against Baze on his home circuit with a live contender.

RS agreed with your liking of Tamarando. I had 4 6 2 8 5 in ranked order.

Too true.

Like the $30.70-to-1 going forward.

I would have pulled the trigger pretty hard on Tamarando if there was a little more speed in the race. I think he's a little better on synthetic. I was afraid the pace was going to be too slow for him to get up. That's what kept me out of the race. I'll tell you one thing, the CashCall is looking stronger and stronger by the week. It's a shame Shared Belief had a setback. I can't wait to see if he can carry that form to the dirt.

I don't think there's much doubt that, barring injury, Shared Belief will be a top Derby contender.

Barring injury? He's currently dealing with a minor injury/alignment.
He is not a factor going forward IMO.

I'm assuming his current injury is not a factor when he returns, of course. :bang:

Here's hoping for Safe Trips ( fair for all ) going forward.
