rough day yesterday at 1 for 9 with a couple underlay losses.
races: 34 wins 10 return:$91.20 ROI: $2.68

KEE 1st-CATBIRD SEAT-this one has won at Kee before and this barn has had some success at Kee the past couple years. This isn't the strongest 10000 field.

KEE 3rd-KISS THE GROOM-ran well in his only Kee race and showed solid improvement in last. Love the FG shippers at Kee.

GP 4th- PARISIAN TRIP-claimed by a sharp barn. This one loves to win and may have moved a bit too soon in her last.

GP 7th-FIVE ELEMENTS- was 3rd in a key race Feb 29. 4 horses have won out, including 3 who finished behind her.

Can any1 explain this: Yesterday at AQU Race#4 .... 2 horses
dead heated. Horse "Gold" would have paid $9.20 to Win;
Horse "Stong" would have paid $15,00 to Win. After the photo
said DH ... Gold paid $5.00 to Win and Stong paid $6.90. That
suckd ... so what happened?

The horses would have paid $9 or $15 depending on if they were the sole winner. Since there was two winners, the pot has to be split between the bettors for both horses, bringing down the payoffs for both horses. The win payoffs were probably pretty similar to the place payoffs for both horses. The worst thing that tracks have done with dead heats in Pic 3s is to automatically assign the lesser value to both horses
