If you've looked at this race, you'd expect to see the 5 & 12 exacta box as the "empty the kids college fund" play of the meet, and most likely will be bet that way. Problem is it may return less than $4 bucks, so off to Community College they go. But the 7 & 11 may suck off enough dollars to make the 5/12 box profitable. But they're Maidens and there has been a little rain, so who knows. I'll be able to watch them which will be an advantage if anything pops up, which I'm hoping will be the #6 Be Vic. The horse has one race where the chart writer captured the effort succinctly as "Never involved". Was last after the start and laster at the finish. But today, longshot specialist Carlos Lozada climbs up for his only mount of the day. I can be drawn to these now or never moments. He's a 10% guy with a positive ROI and teamed up with Hyland on another family pet for a $80 winner earlier in the meet. An instant reply will knock 98% of the punters out of the Pick 3 pool. I like the #1 She Was Free in the 7th as the anchor, and an ALL in the 6th as being off the turf could bring a price. I'll play this if I can get to the track to get a look. Smarter play is the 5/12 EB.
