Thawing out here in Cajunland.
Let's play baby - lots of nice races today.

Aqu R4:
:3: is the pace horse but is 0-12. TimeformUS play is good value at 4-1 but I have a feeling he won't be lonely up front.
:7: showed wicked speed routing and the jock knows only one way to go.
:4: beat the #3 last ime while giving 5lbs. Even weights today.

Taking a lil stab with the :1: at 7-1 second out for Galluscio. A better break can lead to an inside stalking trip behind suspect speed.

Like :1: and :6: then :3:

5th I like the 7
so DD 2 units 16/7
1 unit 3/7

See 1 is dead on board and they are betting Leo "Doesn't win much anymore" OBrien

I'll stay with my choices. 1 took a lot of money in first start, deserves another chance.

IFF speed is king today 3 will be tough.
TVG guy said Leo is off to good start at AQI, was 29/1 last time against similar, will have to close, won't use in win slot.

Wild odds swing.
The :1: wins it at 7-2  ...down from 10-1...7-1...6-1
The :3: went from 4-1 to 9-5 at post.

- :2: top billing is GOOD, but he's still overbet here. Dreamtrip last , although vs. very good horses

what about the :3: or :7:

The :3: can't be ignored. Threat to get out, get over, and get gone...run away from these wire to wire.
He's the play at anything over 2-1 in my book.
Agreed - price on the :2: is ridiculous, but he has a move and has been running behind slow paces.
How bout bombing with the :1: ? True router has faced some good ones and has held his own outside of Stks competition. Decent middle move can put him in contention...why not?

I think 3 will win

i'd love to see the 2 run huge and win, but I'm guessing he's close in talent to the 3 who should get a great trip.

Probably a mistake to not send the #3 hard.

They slowed down a little but Castellano was controlling the pace. He cut the 1st turn corner, and then cut the 2nd turn as well. + That breather that people who bet the 3 could have questioned.

Compare the 2 Top Billing to the 1. They both made a middle move during that breather, but Top Billing made a bold classy move on the turn, and the 1 flattened out 3rd.

PhantomOnTour

FG Race 2:
ex box 1-6-7
win: 1-6

think the #8 is broken and will pop & stop, hopefully, at 6-5

Robert Fischer

That crazy 6 is coming off 500 days off , and taking money ... (exclude him?)

can the :9: cross over and set the pace here?

i'll pass this one.

Well that was easy - the #6 airs at a very generous 8-1 and the #7 desperately hangs on for the exacta

Interesting race as the chalk #5 last raced on Jan11. That card was cancelled after that race due to weather & track conditions. BRIS gave that race a nice figure. I don't know if I trust it. Pace was decent but then it totally fell apart after 4f and they ran 1m16 in over 1:50.
Any fig on that race is an estimated guess.
Bout time the jocks all realized that being up front near the inside is the place to be today, and :2: Concealed is in position to best take advantage of that in R6. Generous 4-1 price. Must deal with the chalk early.
3-6-8 in position if these falter. Lifetime record on the :2: doesn't bode well for a wire job, but it's his to lose....and I think he will lose it. Great bet underneath imo.

ex:
6-8 w 2-3-5-6-8
5 w 6-8

5 w 2 w 3-6-8

Good one POT

I don't like the :10: based on the first race.

:4: and :8: are freezing cold on the board. And I missed the post parade (Loaded Nachos coming up this evening !!)

Just a race for me to watch, and then of course at the end I will lament the price that the 4 or 8 won at. ;)

notes: 3 looks like a longshot addition

** if i had to guess 4-7-8-3

Honestly...WTF was all that jibba jabba? Diagnosed the race perfectly, then totally contradicted myself and bet the other way...awesome, me.
Just bet the friggin #2 at a great 9-2 price and take advantage of the surface :bang: :bang:

Santa Anita race 2.
Starting P-3 with :5: : :8:
:5: Ran well enough in a race he needed.
:8: Huge barn switch peaks my interest.
Really dislike the :2: the race couldn't of shaped up any better for him in his last, today the race flow looks quite the opposite of his last.

Aqu R9 - trying with the :2: ...good value at 8-1. Can stalk the chief speed and chalk :8: and has some races in the past that can take this.

Off to work - good hanging with y'all.
Value later in the Holy Bull is the #4, a serious speed threat.
