http://www.horseplayersassociation.org/hanamonthly.html is out there. Im biased but I think it's got some good handicapping stuff.

Thanks for letting us post it Mike and thanks for reading everyone.

-Horseplayer Jerod Dinkin, a seven-time Horse Player World Series and three-time National Handicapping Championship qualifier, offers several tips tournament play, both before you enter and when you are in competition.

-What is "lawyer handicapping" and why should you avoid it? Barry Meadow explains. Clocker, horseplayer, and jack-of-all trades Bruno De Julio explains why he likes to see horses "multi-task" and what that means.

-Jason Settlemoir, CEO/General Manager of Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, joins us for the "Ten Questions" segment and details the handle increase at The Meadowlands under his and Jeff Gural's guiding hands.

-Lenny Moon wants you to go against the flow, Mike Dorr explains what improvements he'd make to tournaments, Rich Nilsen has 14 things horseplayers should avoid in 2013, and you get the 411 on breakage.

-Melissa Nolan takes a peek at the sheets and the Triple Crown, Karl Broberg is in the Supertrainer Spotlight, Quick Hits, Oaklawn Stats, and much more in the February issue of the Horseplayer Monthly!

Thanks guys.

Spoke with Bruno and he is gioing to add another article next month. I enjoyed his this month. Interesting the way he sees horses like Z and Will Take Charge go after other horses.

Melissa's sheets article does go through to Rag numbers for all the three year olds. I didnt notice that at first, FYI.

As well, if you dont want to miss an issue, you can sign up here. We dont spam.

Good stuff, especially from Meadows. While there is generally some aspect of his thesis I disagree with, he's unique and insightful. And it's that small divergence of opinion that makes him an informative, provocative read for me.

Also, I usually learn something on the rare occasions I read De Julio. So I plan to check you guys out more often.
