In the first race at Kempton Park (4:25pm local time, 11:25am EST), a 6f handicap on the Polytrack (http://www.racingpost.com/horses2/cards/card.sd?race_id=593316&r_date=2014-01-22#raceTabs=sc_) , with a 12 horse field..... Indus Valley has been slashed to 1/3 by the bookies. He was 20/1 earlier this morning.
The horse has not raced in 2 years! and finished last or 2nd last in last three starts
Something's a brewing.

So that's three so far that have won..... all started out at long odds and backed in to short priced or odds-on favs.

And the 4th horse in the gamble comes home, wins in a canter. Went off a at 1/3 after being available at 10/1 in the morning.

Bookies are claiming the lost $1.6million on the four of them.

What a ridiculously well executed betting coup.

4-for-4 in one day with a bunch of layoff horses betdown from double digit odds to odds-on.

Here's an amusing old TV Interview featuring the man at the center of this betting coup today...

Somebody did a very good training job, as long as they were the horses they were supposed to be.

Do the stewards call in the trainers in North America if a horse runs 'too well'?
