3.50 R7 No1 Ginger N Sugar - Hard to go past Ginger N Suger in this event. Lightly raced improver at peak fitness now having 4th career start 3rd up from a spell. Winner 2 of 3 in short career (both wins over same trip as faces today) and has previously shown the necessary speed required to go forward and sit on pace and should be able to either lead or get the run of the race in the box seat if something decides to take it on in front. After a predicted good run setting average pars through the early and middle stages should be able to close off to full effectiveness in the stretch and hold sway in the run to the wire. Huge win last start when kicked away in the stretch last start treating opposition with contempt to win by 9.5l with good margins back through the field indicating the depth of the performance. Well bred by Gold Token (Mr Prospector) out of a Northrop mare. Trainer has 26% strike rate with horses being freshened, 26% strike rate with last start winners and 24% strike rate in allowances. Also gets a high percentage trainer as a bonus. All reads well and should prove very difficult to hold out here.
