3.45 R6 No3 Capo - Decided to give the nod to Capo in this who is 2nd up here now and fitter for good 1st up win last start. Recorded 2.5l win over 1m1/16th last start leading wire to wire on turf in 62k MdnClm company and should improve on that here with better fitness now. Showed the necessary speed that day to indicate can go forward here and fins lead without working too hard. Should get an easy trip midrace on exposed speed figures allowing to close off in the stretch to hold sway in the run to the wire. Very well bred by Capote (Seattle Slew) out of a Rubiano mare and big bonus with trainer carrying excellent win strike rates across 5 major spheres of influence here. Obvious minor queries exist but if it gets the desired trip should prove too strong and win to make it two on end this prep. A lot of hidden upside in good last start win.
