3.30 R2 No6 Jerardi - Decided on backing Jerardi in this. Having 2nd career starts and drops from 1 mile to 6 furlong for today's assignment. At 1st career start showed very good early speed to set pace before folding in stretch. Drops to 6f suits as on that effort and work recorded 10 February this year over 4f when stopped clock at 45.4 should be able to lead these today. On that basis should get a good run upfront without too much pressure allowing to kick in the stretch and hold sway in the run to the wire. Well bred by hot son of Danzig, Boundary out of a Sunny's Halo mare and trainer has 24% strike rate with 2nd career starters, 16% rate route to sprints and 19% rate in mdn spwghts. 6 others engaged here are also well bred but on that excellent work and speed shown at 1st start through early stages Jerardi shapes as the proven fit type hardest to beat.
