Time to start down the Derby Trail, and I will begin by playing a La bred.
:7: Vicar's In Trouble - can stalk the speed rail horse and hopefully bust this thing open before the closers get into gear. Heck, Rosie may try to take them wire to wire.
Figure dynamic is good for the stretchout. I have his last race at 102-107-108 which is ideal for going longer.

Chalk is likely to be the :4: Gold Hawk who has been impressive in winning his two starts, and he has won going long already....but he isn't as fast as my top pick.

ML of 9-2 on my selection, and even though he's a La bred, I expect that price to come down.
Will accept nothing less than 3-1

I like your 7 on paper (and the 4 looks tough as well).

I'll have to look at most of them on video.

The 1 - Roman Unbridled has really moved forward the last two starts and looks to be a value add for exotics here.

I don't like :7:. He got the half in 46 in a six furlong sprint against state breds. There was no way he wasn't going to come home strongly. Maybe he's the goods, but I need to see one more.

:4: Gold Hawk is has a solid closing kick and tactical speed, so he's my choice.

:8: Silent Ruler is attractive underneath.

7 looks much the best to me.

If he can work a trip early, he should win this.

After reviewing the field, I don't see any really tough horses here. I think the 1 will be in the top 3 , 8-1 ml.

/And Plug Catcher is a solid horse, throw him on the watch list for next time

I'm going to take a stab with the :3: on this one. Mostly just based on a class drop, first time dirt for a trainer who is not to bad on the switch, and a series of good workouts.

Off to work soon - going to miss the race.

My play:
ex: :7: w :1: :3: :4: :6: :9:
tri: :4: w :7: w :1: :3: :6: :9:
win: :7: (at 3-1 or better)

good luck

What salty said. Danny Pish enters 2 horses turf to dirt, and it looks to me like the :3: might be interesting at a price. 6 units win on GOT SHADES, and a 1 unit exacta back wheel, looking for a bomb to beat me (though it'll probably be the :4: , who has done nothing wrong yet.)

aggressive ride from Rosie into the 1st turn helped secure that win. She cut the 6 off, and the 6 still ran pretty well to hold 2nd.

It was no contest, but man did the price plummet on the winner.
Was 3-1 with about a minute or two to post and leaves the gate at 8-5.

The 7 was the favorite in the pick 3 ending in this race. Kinda new he would come down in win pool odds. He did open at 6-1.

The winner never changed leads coming for home. That'll be a problem when the competition gets tougher.

That wasn't a strong field, but he drew off impressively. There may be even more in the tank. I'd have to think he at least fits with some of the better 3yos at middle distances,
